Having just watched the forecast for yet more cloud and having reached the last day of February it seems that this year isn't being very astronomy friendly. The winter constellations have much to photograph and they are beginning to slip by already. Away from other commitments I have only had one lengthy spell of moonless clear sky which was spoiled by technical problems and smokey chimneys. With Comet Lulin in the sky it will be very disappointing if the conditions don't improve soon before the moon becomes a factor oncemore. Now the modified camera and CLS filter seem to be working well together I'm looking forward to trying some longer exposures.
