The North America Nebula (NGC 7000) was cause to give the apo another airing. At least the sky remained clear long enough to get a good set of subs before the inevitable cloud rolled in. During set up I was quite surprised that a sub one minute exposure was sufficient to reveal the nebula given how difficult it used to be on film. Details: WO Megrez 88.... 8x 7 minute exposures @ iso800 + 4x 7 minute exposures @ iso400 with CLS in DSS & CS2.

Nice image Pete. In the central region you can clearly make out contrast within the nebula itself. I think you've done a great job capturing this one. Just wish I knew where you get the energy from to process and publish your images so soon after taking them!
