With a much reduced moon and what looked a good evening I thought I would have another attempt at M57' s elusive stars. While waiting for the sky to get properly dark I decided to take a look at NGC 6826 (The Blinking Nebula). I fired off 20x 1 minute exposures and used Registax to stack the best 10 images. Details: 10" Newtonian F4.3 at prime focus with CLS @ iso400 & CS2.
Just as I was setting up to try M57 a bank of cloud rolled in (as usual!) and brought this overdue session to an end.
