With the moon at first quarter and a fairly good sky I decided to spend some time trying to iron out the guiding issues . It seems very hard to achieve a perfect result but at least I am getting to understand the parameters better. I left the scope pointing at NGC 4565 while I played with various settings. Out of 18x 7 minute exposures I found 10 that were worth using and which produced another pleasingly detailed image. The galaxy at lower right is NGC 4562. Details: 10x 7 minute exposures @ iso800 with CLS in DSS & CS2.
