The next clear evening gave me the chance to try NGC 896 again after aborting it during the last session. The transparency remained quite good allowing me to get a decent set of subs this time. As I moved on to another target the sky lost its clarity very rapidly so I had to abandon oncemore. NGC 896 is a bright region on the extremity of The Heart Nebula in Cassiopeia (sub included for comparison). Details: 10" f4.3 Newt. 11x 10 minute exposures @ iso800 with CLS in DSS, Photobrush & XAT.
