My first attempt at M76 (The Little Dumbbell Nebula) revealed that getting a pleasing image of it will be something of a challenge under MK skies though I never got anything of it remotely as good on film. Details: 25/11/08. 10" f4.3 Newt.prime focus. 450D@iso400. 12x 150second exposures in DSS & CS2.
