Sometimes called The Sunflower Galaxy M63 wasn't discovered by Charles Messier himself but by a friend....I have found a processing method for getting a smoother & cleaner background which I have applied to this image. Time will tell if it works on other images. The galaxy at upper right is UGC 8313. Details: 5x 5 minutes + 5x 7 minute exposures @ iso800 with CLS in DSS & CS2.
