NGC 2903

A bit surprised that this one escaped Messier's list as it is easily bright enough to have been included. The run of clear nights seems to have come to an end so back to looking for gaps in the clouds oncemore!....the moon will soon be a factor again. This period of galaxy snapping has given me a chance to try and improve a few things. The guiding continues to be a bit inconsistent though. Sometimes it can be very good on one evening and not so good another despite lots of fiddling which makes me wonder if the initial calibration run can vary....more research needed.
Details for this image: 8x 5 minute exposures @ iso800 with CLS in DSS & CS2.
