M 82 - an unusual partner

Another nicely transparent evening gave me the chance to image M 81's nearby partner M 82. This strange cigar shaped galaxy is defined as a starburst galaxy with huge amounts of material exploding from its centre as a result of tidal forces from M 81. Despite obtaining a good set of subs I found this subject very difficult to process especially regarding the colour balance. Details: 10" f 4.3 Newt. 5x 10 minute exposures @ iso800 + 5x 10 minute exposures @ iso 1600 with CLS in DSS, CS2, Photobrush & XAT.
