The Horsehead

A clear spell allowed me to fire off 10x 4 minute exposures of the Horsehead Nebula using the CLS filter. I intended to try for a set of longer exposures but cloud rolled in and ended the session....I was pleased with the mods to the guider which worked well and by chance I tried a new method of calibration which seems to improve its accuracy though I shall need some more sessions to be sure its consistent. I found this image difficult to process so I'm not sure how to improve it. I feel some longer exposures would have helped in not having to stretch things so much. (part of 240second sub included).....Details: modified 450D. 10 x 240second exposures @iso400 with CLS filter in DSS, CS2 + Photobrush.
