M 109

With a brightening moon and mediocre transparency I managed to get 10 subs of M 109 before the clarity got much worse. M109 is another of Ursa Major's notable galaxies with well defined spiral arms. Of the fainter galaxies also visible are PGC 37700 ( upper right) & PGC 37553 (lower left). Detail: 10" f 4.3 Newt. 10x 10 minute exposures @ iso800 with CLS in DSS, CS2. Photobrush & XAT.
