An evening of reasonable clarity at last allowed some attempts at imaging. This image of the central region of M44 (The Beehive Cluster) doesn't show the subject to best effect (why I need a widefield apo!) but did reveal the guider as working nicely after the previous unidentified problems. I was pleased to see that it has picked up UGC 4526 which is the galaxy near bottom centre. A second version has been processed to give more emphasis to the star colours. Details: 7x 5minute exposures @iso400 prime focus with CLS filter in DSS & CS2.
