FastStone Image Viewer

For a long time I used "Irfan View" as my main image viewer and basic editor. I was very satisfied with its facilities until a couple of years ago a friend introduced me to the "FastStone Image Viewer" which is a really superb bit of freeware for cropping, resizing and doing all the basic edits that don't require the sophistication of Photoshop etc. It has many other facilities that are very useful and nicely thought out (one of these is to do direct side by side image comparison).
