Return to the apo & IC 1396

With the run of clear nights continuing I thought, by way of a change, I would give the apo an airing. Containing The Elephant Trunk Nebula IC 1396 is a very large emission nebula in Cepheus which more than fills the field of the apo. Initially the sky looked quite transparent but it soon deteriorated once I had started imaging around 10pm. It started to improve again around midnight so I decided to dump 2 hours worth of subs and stay up later than intended in pursuit of a better result. This is a full field image. Details: WO Megrez 88 apo. 20x 7minute exposures @ iso1600 with CLS in DSS, CS2 & XAT.
