More optimism than galaxies

With a bright moon in the sky getting much of a result on this subject was overly optimistic. I was tempted by the quality of the transparency which appeared to be good but it soon was obvious that trying to go beyond 8 minutes with the subs wouldn't be of any benefit due to the moon. This is a dense area of galaxies in Hercules but few of them are showing with much clarity. Definitely an area to try again under a darker, moonless sky. Details: 10" f4.3 Newt. 14x 8 minute exposures @ iso800 with CLS in DSS, CS2 & XAT.
