Galaxies aplenty

The next clear evening good enough for imaging without the moon being a factor gave me the chance to attempt this dense field of galaxies in Coma Berenices. To obtain a decent number of subs meant having to continue imaging through the meridian which usually renders the autoguiding unreliable. I was relieved therefore to negotiate this region without having to dump any unusable subs for a change. The transparency was quite acceptable and I was pleased to have picked up a good few galaxies in this crowded area. Face-on NGC 4921 is to the left. Details: 10" f4.3 Newt. 2x 15 minute + 12x 10 minute exposures @ iso800 with CLS in DSS, CS2, Photobrush & XAT.
