Later in the evening I tried capturing IC 63 which is a small patch of nebulosity adjacent to Gamma Cassiopeiae. However, after getting the subs for NGC 7822, the conditions rapidly deteriorated with ever increasing patches of cloud. I managed to get 6 useable subs of IC 63 before admitting defeat. They were all "pinked" to some extent so I'm sure a much better result is achievable. I will probably try the main scope on it next time. Details: WO Megrez 88 + MPCC. 6x 10 minute exposures @ iso800 with CLS in DSS & XAT.
