A Wider Crescent
Although the moon was beginning to rise, after doing the subs for the Eastern Veil, I decided to go for a wider & deeper view of the Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888) as I was already using the apo. The subs were inevitably washed out to some extent by moonlight but the resulting image did reveal a good deal of the nebulosity surrounding the Crescent itself. Details: WO Megrez 88 apo. 12x 10 minute exposures @ iso800 with CLS in DSS, Nebulosity & XAT Image Optimizer.
