Non-productivity & rain

Not much input at the moment as good evenings are reluctant to coincide with periods when other commitments aren't taking precedence. With skies only being dark enough for deep sky over a relatively short period I doubt the next few weeks are going to be very productive. I was lucky to escape some serious damage to equipment when one of the heaviest rainstorms I can ever remember hit the town recently. This found all the weak points in my observatory's weather proofing narrowly missing giving my scope a good soaking.
