Useable 300mm

While photography is limited by a bright moon I thought I would have another go at seeing if I could get my 70-300mm lens more useable. Getting good focus at the 300mm end of things was proving almost impossible but persistence seems to have paid off and I seem to have found a method that gives a more useful result. It isn't the best of lenses for astro use but it seems a waste not to use it when it covers such a wide field range. Regarding the apo....the field flattener I received proved to be faulty so I am now in the process of getting it exchanged.
