After looking a bit doubtful last night eventually became quite clear. Initially I intended to try for M109 but for whatever reason I had great difficulty in finding it....I can only assume it is relatively faint and needs a good sky to image it. So not to waste the session I went for something rather more obvious! On this image of M13 the lovely red star (HD 150998) is a very prominent object. I am pleased with this....the guiding worked well and it seemed a clean & easy image to process. Details: 10" f4.3 newt. 10x 150 second exposures @ iso400 + 5x 150 second exposures @ iso800 with CLS filter in DSS & CS2.
