It looks as though another clear evening is due (hopefully!). So while waiting for it to get dark I thought I'd post the result of last night's effort on M101 which is another face-on galaxy that presents a fairly large target. Details: 10" f4.3 newt. 10x 7 minute exposures @ iso800 with CLS in DSS & CS2.26.4.09
