A short period of clear sky before cloud oncemore rolled in let me have a last ditch attempt at the Rosette Nebula before it disappears from view at my site. I was interested to see just how different it would be using the modded camera & the CLS filter compared to my earlier efforts. Although the guider isn't at its best past the meridian I did manage to get 4 acceptable 7 minute exposures to work with. A bit over processed perhaps but fun to have all that nebulosity to play with....One of the subs is shown for reference. Details: iso 400 in DSS & CS2.
